Discord Fun & Search Commands
You don't need to add a separate bot to search anime, manga, Pokémon, movies, GIFs, weather or a Twitch streamer — VeyroBot's own commands cover it. Each one calls a real, free public API and posts the result as a Discord embed; no member enters an API key and the server owner sets up nothing.
Anime, manga and Pokémon
/anime and /manga search Kitsu's catalog and return the title, rating, episode or chapter count, release status and a summary translated into the server's language. /pokemon pulls type, height, weight and the official artwork from PokéAPI.
Movies and GIFs
/film searches TMDB and shows the poster, release year, rating and summary. /gif returns a GIPHY result matching your search term.
Weather and Twitch search
/weather shows the current temperature and conditions for a city via OpenWeatherMap. /twitch searches a streamer's Twitch profile — it's a lookup command, not a live-alert setup; that's the separate Twitch Notifications feature.
Joke and advice
/joke and /advice return a random joke or piece of advice. Their source APIs provide English content; VeyroBot translates the text into the server's language and stores the translation. If a translation can't be made at that moment, the English original is shown.
No API keys, no setup
None of these ask you for an API key; some, like /dog, don't even take a search term. Each command can be switched on or off on its own in the dashboard's Search Commands tab. Every result matches the server's language.

Anyone who wants anime/manga fans, movie-and-show communities, or a quick weather/GIF/joke tool without adding an extra bot to the server.

Not for anyone who wants a deep, customizable search engine for one specific topic (like anime only) — these commands return fast, one-off results and don't offer advanced filtering.

Add the bot to your server
Open the invite link above, pick your server and approve the permissions. The bot comes online within seconds.

Type the command in any channel
In any channel on your server, type / and pick the command you want from the list (e.g. /anime, /pokemon, /weather); enter a search term if the command needs one.

See the result as an embed
The bot posts the result as a Discord embed in the same channel within seconds; the result's language automatically matches your server's language, and English-source text (jokes, advice, anime/manga summaries) is translated into it.

Frequently asked questions
Does /twitch set up stream alerts?
No. It's only a one-off Twitch profile search. If you want an automatic notification when a streamer goes live, that's the separate Twitch Notifications feature.
Do /joke and /advice answer in the server's language?
Yes. Their source APIs (JokeAPI and Advice Slip) only provide English content; VeyroBot translates the text into the server's language and stores the translation, so the same joke or advice is ready the next time it comes up. If a translation can't be made at that moment, the command still works and shows the English original.
Do I need to enter an API key for these?
No. They all run on VeyroBot's own connections; no member or server owner ever enters a key.
